Dear Supporter(s),

Please join the Community Empowerment Center (Dr. Jean Bonnet) and FIGHT at the Gala for Lasting Memories on Thursday November 30th, 2017 at 6PM. The event will be held at Lombardo's located in Randolph, Massachusetts. November is Alzheimer’s Awareness month and it is only filling that Dr. Bonnet was selected Blue Hills Bank’s 2017 Hometown Hero of the Month. With personal experiences with the disease, this evening will prove to be memorable.

The Community Empowerment Center and FIGHT hold this unique Gala not only to raise awareness and money for research but we are confident that this assembly of Physicians, pharmaceutical companies and others will prove to be a powerful networking conglomerate.

As we all know, Alzheimer's disease is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. At first, someone with Alzheimer's disease may notice mild confusion and difficulty remembering. Eventually, people with the disease may even forget important people in their lives and undergo dramatic personality changes. According to a U.S. based survey, nearly 50% of patients with Alzheimer's disease are already in the moderate to severe stages when diagnosed. When they’ve progressed to the severe stage, they may lose the ability to perform daily activities, like carrying on a conversation or even being aware of their surroundings, and may be entirely dependent on your help.

Join us and our keynote speaker Dr. Anil Nair and surprise guests for a fabulous night of awareness and unity in FIGHTing Alzheimer’s. Dr. Nair is a prominent Boston neurologist specializing in the treatment of dementia, behavioral and geriatric neurology. He is a leading expert in the field of dementia, considered a key opinion leader and is the author of the textbook of Geriatric Neurology.
